The U.S. House voted today to spend an additional $2 billion on the ‘Cash for Clunkers’ program.
The program offers rebates to certain consumers who exchange old gas-guzzling jalopies for more fuel-efficient ones for a greener environment.
The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote on spending more money for the program on Monday.
