Snowmageddon 2010 in Washington DC
by Tyler on 02/16/10
You have probably been itching to get out of your house and do something since Snowmageddon 2010 hit Washington DC. By now the kids have driven you insane, you back is broken from shoveling all the snow, and @$$**** have stolen your parking space that took you 4 hours to shovel out. Who would have thought this blizzard of 2010 in Northern Virginia would really keep us from going about our daily business? The first few days were fun right? No work, the kids are in great moods because county schools have been canceled, hot chocolate is constantly brewing, and you get to catch up on your Tivo/DVR. WRONG!!! We all know how quickly that got old. After all, this is Washington DC and no one can sit still for more than 15 minutes without wanting to do something else. Not to mention that the President’s Day sales are around the corner.
Now that the snow has started to melt and the roads are decent enough to drive on, it’s time that you get out. You need to burn those calories from all the frozen pizzas cooked up and get your daily dose of vitamin D from the sun. Here are 10 ways to get your sanity back and resume your so called normal life.
