In today’s market, you’re going to have to stand out. With the recent overload of inventory from the foreclosure properties, you need to give your home a litte spice or something that wows the crowd. Here are some simple ways to transform your home. I bet you didn’t know that it doesn’t cost you a fortune either.
- Spend some time cleaning up the beds by pulling those weeds and pruning the shrubs. Then add some mulch to give it that fresh look.
- Get out and buy some pots. A few ceramic pots or even the look-a-likes filled with bright flowers are going to make all the difference. It will give off that classy feel.
- A few lights illuminating the path to the door really make a difference.
- If you’re going to have a mailbox, take some pride in it. Replace it with a newer one and landscape the base with some plantings and mulch.
You’d be surprised how much sweat equity will take when you’re selling your home. You don’t need hundreds of dollars to improve the look of your home.
